Default Test E powder turned brown

So my friend has some Test E powder, obviously it turns to sludge at room temperature. Well it has been stored in an airtight container for a few months and has turned a dark brown color. Still smells the same, but when brewed up, looks a dark brown color still.

What the heck is going on?

would seem there would have to be a substance (impurity) Present that caused the change.

oxidization can do that though I've never seen it brown once brewed.

Yeah he went ahead and brewed it, filtered it, in grapeseed oil, and it is still a dark brown color sort of like tea. This patch previously was the normal color so something oxidized in there.
I wouldn't be brave enough to inject that, personally...

Sticky goo is more or less it's normal state at room temperature. It should normally be a clear sludge with a slightly yellowish tint and a strong smell that sort of reminds me of pine.

Just curious if anyone has actually tried using powder that has turned color like this?

He hasn't thrown it out yet but isn't using it.
